Shoring & falsework

Specialist propping for unstable, damaged and hazardous buildings — and engineered falsework that carries the load while permanent structures are built and cured. One of the things we’re known for, and a job for experienced hands only.

Structural shoring

Holding buildings up, safely

Shoring supports a structure that can’t support itself — a façade being retained, a wall that’s moved, a floor being underpinned, or a building made safe after damage. Get it wrong and it’s dangerous; get it right and the rest of the work can happen safely.

It’s work we’ve done for years and genuinely specialise in. We design the shoring to the loads, install it with experienced carded teams, and work to the engineer’s scheme every step of the way.

Falsework

Carrying the load until the structure can

Falsework is the temporary structure that supports formwork, decks and loads until the permanent works can stand on their own — most often under concrete slabs, beams and bridge decks while they’re poured and cured.

It has to be engineered to the load and built exactly right, because everything sits on it until the concrete’s there. We’ve put up falsework for big concrete pours for years, designed to the scheme and installed by experienced carded teams.

From a single prop to a bridge deck

Shoring scales from propping a single opening to retaining a whole façade while the building behind it is rebuilt — and falsework from a single suspended slab to a full bridge-deck pour. We work to the structural scheme and strike it once the works can stand on their own.
