This policy explains how TNT Scaffolding Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your personal information more generally.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They're used to make a site work properly, to remember choices you've made, and to understand how a site is being used. Some are set by us, and some are set by other companies whose services we use.
We keep this site deliberately simple. We do not use advertising or re-targeting cookies, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
These are needed for the site to work and to keep it secure. They don't track you and can't be switched off. They're set by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to route traffic, protect the site from attacks and remember your analytics preference.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are popular, which areas we're getting enquiries from, and where the site could be clearer. This is reporting on numbers and trends, not on you personally. IP anonymisation is switched on, Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and we never use these cookies to advertise to you.
These are set when you arrive, rather than after you agree to them. UK law changed on 5 February 2026: the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 replaced regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and the rules now allow a website to measure how it is being used in order to improve it without asking for consent first — as long as it explains clearly what it is doing and gives you a simple, free way to object. The notice on your first visit is the explanation, and the button below is how you object. We tell you rather than ask you because a visitor count that only includes the people who click "accept" doesn't tell us much about how the site is really used.
